Lemon-Tahini Chickpea & Fresh Herb Dip

This dip highlights Feastica’s 100% Natural Tahini’s creamy, nutty flavor and versatility in a savory context. As many sources note, tahini works beautifully in dips, dressings and sauces as well as sweet dishes. It makes a perfect starter for a feast — shareable, flavorful, and vegan-friendly.

Ingredients (serves ~6)

  • 1 can (15oz/425g) chickpeas, drained & rinsed

  • ⅓-½ cup smooth Feastica’s 100% Natural Tahini

  • Juice of 1 large lemon

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • ¼ cup olive oil (+ extra for drizzling)

  • 2-3 tbsp water (to loosen)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Fresh herbs (e.g., chopped parsley + chopped mint)

  • Optional: za’atar or sumac for garnish

  • Pita bread, sliced vegetables or crackers for serving

Method

  1. In a food processor (or blender), combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice and garlic. Pulse until mostly smooth.

  2. With motor running, drizzle in olive oil and then add water gradually to reach your desired creamy consistency.

  3. Season with salt & pepper; taste and adjust lemon/garlic/seasoning.

  4. Transfer to serving bowl. Drizzle a little olive oil on top, garnish with chopped fresh herbs and a sprinkle of sumac or za’atar for color & flavor.

  5. Serve with warm pita, sliced veggie sticks (cucumber, carrot), or crackers.

Serving & styling tip
